Dr. Funk grew up in Royersford and graduated from Spring Ford high school. He spent his college years at Juniata College and went to dental school at Temple Dental School. Dr Funk has invested many hours in continuing education and has become highly knowledgeable on many phases of dentistry. He tries to combine that knowledge with a craftsmanship so that any work he creates will be as perfect, enduring, and functional as possible.
Chris has been a part of our office for nine years. She grew up in Trooper and graduated from Methacton High School. Chris is both our receptionist and secretary where she takes care of appointments, billing, and insurance matters. Chris is the smile and friendly hello that greets all of our patients as they come into the office, and she is the quick wit and joker of our staff who is never without a comment or observation. Chris has two dogs, Bear and Sully, who she walks every morning rain, sleet, or shine, and she is the very involved aunt of her two nephews and one niece.
Nicaya has been with us for 8 years, first as our full time hygienist and now she is a part time hygienist and a full time mom with two young daughters. Nicaya grew up in Birdsboro and graduated from Daniel Boone high school. She enjoyed going to concerts and camping, she used to be a regular at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, but now she is fully engaged with raising two infants. Nicaya is very thorough and knowledgable,she is always cheerful and quick to laugh.
Martine is our newest employee, she started in the spring of ’10. Martine grew up in Limerick, graduated from St. Pius. She was a dental assistant for 5 years and then went to hygiene school. Martine temped for many years for area dentists so she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Martine is married with two children. Being a local girl it is rare that she doesn’t know someone you know and she has a bright smile and an infectious laugh.
